Lead your change Italy

This is an open call for Romanian participants for the training course “Lead Your Change”

DATE & PLACE:  26-31 of May 2015, in Conversano, Italy. Please note that arrival is on the 25th of May, and departure on the 1st of June 2015.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 

The project will gather 20 youth workers, volunteers and youth leaders from 6 countries: Romania, Greece, Spain, Italy, Latvia and Poland. During the 6-day training course participants will be trained in the use of the innovative new non-formal education method for professional and personal development named “Equilitri Method™.

This project’s goal is to develop the capacity of the promoting organisations to motivate and improve their volunteers through Personal and Professional Development. The project will help the promoters by providing their youth workers with advanced HR tools for professional and personal development and key competencies in four major areas: time management skills, leadership and followship skills, planning and organizing, organisational communication skills. The methods applied during the training will be based on non formal approach: debates, simulation games, role play, small group work, working in pairs, finding parallels between theory and practice, presentations, associations.

 Objectives of the training course are:
– to provide youth workers with tools to guide volunteers in personal and socio-professional development
– to make youth workers aware of the importance of focusing more on developing their human resources
– to provide youth workers with the opportunity to safely test and understand the EquiliTRI toolset in order to be able to apply them in their own organisations
– to provide youth workers with soft skills training on personal and professional development
– to raise awareness on the importance of communication between youth workers and NGOs regarding personal and professional development
– to develop new partnerships and projects under Erasmus + Programme

PARTICIPANT’S PROFILE:
Youth leaders, youth workers, volunteers from your organisation or cooperating organisations. Participants should be at least 18 years old and should have a good level of English.

COSTS:
The Project covers 100% of travel and accommodation, food, training costs etc. (travel costs limit for Romanian participants  is 275 EURO).
The transport costs will be reimbursed after we receive from you all the travel documents, with proof of purchase, proof of payment and proof of use (invoice, receipt, boarding pass, train tickets, bus tickets etc.)

Participation fee: 35 EURO.
